Mariposa (Tracking and Masking)

For this shot, I learned point-tracking and masking techniques in order to have the 2D assets animate their position with environment props when there was a camera move.
Tracking and Masking Breakdown
1. Did motion-tracking on the hand for the blue sticky note to link to. This helped the sticky note, which was a separate asset, move along with the hand.
2. Also did motion-tracking on a mirror using a green tracker added by Krista Zuber, as there was a camera move in front of the mirror.
3. The mirror track was linked to the character reflection, so when the mirror moved in the background, the reflection would move with the mirror.
4. Final composited shot - the bottom edge of the character reflection was masked over the mirror's green screen.
Made sure any animations synced up with camera moves in the environment render.
